Zuora Japan to Host Webinar on Next-Gen BSS for ISPs

Zuora Japan will hold a webinar on March 12, 2025, to discuss cutting-edge Business Support System (BSS) requirements for modern Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and case studies from major ISPs such as Biglobe, according to a press release from Nifty News (in Japanese). As ISPs face challenges in acquiring new customers and modernizing aging core systems, the webinar will explore how SaaS-based BSS solutions can streamline operations, reduce costs and enhance monetization. Topics include next-gen system requirements, ISP system configurations using SaaS and Zuora’s solutions for ISPs. The online event, led by Zuora Japan’s Executive Officer Seiichi Nishiyama, will be free to attend with pre-registration required. Zuora provides subscription monetization solutions to more than 1,000 companies worldwide, including Sony, Toyota and Zoom. More details and registration are available on Zuora’s website.

Miidas Named “Good Service” in Talent Management by BOXIL SaaS AWARD Winter 2024

On February 19, CNET Japan reported (in Japanese) that Miidas, a mid-career recruitment service operated by Miidas Co., Ltd., has been recognized as a “Good Service” in the Talent Management System category of the BOXIL SaaS AWARD Winter 2024. This marks the eighth consecutive selection for Miidas, affirming its strong reputation in the recruitment industry.

Organized by Smart Camp Co., Ltd., the BOXIL SaaS AWARD evaluates outstanding SaaS solutions based on user reviews, with this year’s selections drawn from 13,000+ new reviews posted between October 2023 and September 2024. Users praise Miidas for reducing recruitment costs, automating scouting and enhancing candidate matching through its AI-driven assessments. The platform’s unique “Potential Diagnosis” feature helps identify job seekers’ strengths and align them with employer needs, improving retention and performance.

YuLife Expands Employee Rewards Program Through Gifty Collaboration

YuLife Japan has partnered with e-gift platform Gifty to expand its rewards program, offering employees a broader range of redemption options for their healthy habits. Through the YuLife app, users earn “YuCoin” by engaging in activities such as walking and mindfulness, which can now be exchanged for popular e-gift cards from major brands, including TULLY’S COFFEE, TOHO Cinemas, Don Quijote, Apple, Amazon and Google Play.

PR Times reported (in Japanese) that the partnership aims to boost employee motivation by providing flexible reward choices. YuLife, a global IT company focused on employee well-being, collaborates with Dai-ichi Life in Japan to support work style reforms and health initiatives. Its app, used by more than 1,000 companies worldwide, has been linked to improved retention, productivity and reduced absenteeism.

Mirakl Showcases E-Commerce Solutions at RETAILTECH JAPAN 2025

According to a press release from Nifty News (in Japanese), Mirakl Co., Ltd., a leading provider of SaaS marketplace solutions, will exhibit at RETAILTECH JAPAN 2025 from March 4–7 at Tokyo Big Sight (Booth: East Hall 2 RT2132). At the event, Mirakl will showcase its latest innovations designed to drive e-commerce transformation. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the Mirakl Marketplace Platform, which enables businesses to build scalable marketplace ecosystems, as well as the Catalog Transformer, an AI-powered tool that optimizes product listings to improve content quality and operational efficiency.
